You’ll Love When This Chimpanzee Sees the Blue Sky for the Very First Time…

Posted by GreaterGoodness

In 2013, The Humane Society of the United States rescued 111 chimpanzees from lab testing facilities and allowed them to roam outdoors — many for the first time in their lives.

Rescuers brought the chimps to Chimp Haven, a sanctuary designated exclusively to rescued chimpanzees, in northwest Louisiana. This group of apes has nearly doubled the size of the facility, and is the largest number of chimps ever rescued at once.

See the looks on these precious creatures’ faces when they gaze at the sky for the very first time!
