It Is All In A Windy Day’s Work For This Kind Weatherman!

Posted by GreaterGoodness

Weather correspondents sometimes put themselves in the path of nature’s fury to report on extreme weather. On a “High Wind Warning” day in Chicago, NBC Chicago meteorologist Byron Miranda was reporting from the streets when he saw an elderly woman attempting to cross the street. The woman was unsteady on her feet in the dangerously windy conditions and desperately clung on to the side of a building as the wind threatened to blow her away.

Seeing the stranded woman, Miranda flagged down a cab. With the help of a few passing good Samaritans, Miranda then helped the woman walk to the taxi. While the video of the incident went viral, Miranda refused to make much of it, saying “I’m just happy I was able to help that woman.”
