Do you know what “drifting” is? We’ll tell you what drifting is.

According to Driftworks, drifting “is a driving style in which the driver uses the throttle, brakes, clutch, gear shifting and steering input to keep the car in a state of oversteer while maneuvering from turn to turn.”

In other words, there’s a whole lot of lateral movement, and there’s a whole lot of sound, particularly a persistent screeching of tires.

Some people drift for a living. One such person is Anton Avdeyev, from Kazakhstan. Anton has a five-year-old son named Timofey. For the past three years, Anton has taken Timofey for some awesome drives around secure tracks like the one you’ll see in the video you’re about to see.

Another thing to note is that, during the drive, not once did Anton’s speed exceed 37 miles per hour. That said, like Timofey, buckle up, sit back and enjoy the ride!
