What Started As A Typo Has Become A Holiday Tradition!

Posted by GreaterGoodness

2015 marks the 60th year that NORAD has been tracking Santa on Christmas Eve. Back in 1955, Sears ran an ad with a phone number that kids could use to call Santa directly. However, there was a one number typo in the phone number so when kids called, they got the Continental Air Defense Command (now NORAD). Thanks to the quick thinking of an Air Force Colonel, he directed his staff to track Santa by radar, thus beginning a wonderful tradition! You can track Santa right here!
