Archival Footage Shows Goofy 1940s-50s Solution To Growing Beaver Population

After WWII, Idaho was having a problem with the beaver population. So the State DNR came up with a kooky, yet effective solution. They gathered up some surplus WWII parachutes, put the beavers in special crates, and dropped them into a more remote wilderness area. By all accounts it was a very successful program! Good thinking!!
