Ok, Who Remembers These Weird Super Bowl Moments?!?

Posted by GreaterGoodness

The Super Bowl is so much more than just a game. It has become our biggest spectacle, and every moment is seemingly milked for all it is worth; from great plays such as David Tyree’s catch off of his helmet in Super Bowl XLII to not-so-great plays such as Scott Norwood missing a last second field goal to lose Super Bowl XXV… There are the amazing halftime shows and we get to see the $5 million dollar ads for this year’s game. It seems like we’ve seen it all. Or have we?

How many of you remember Max McGee of the Packers being ridiculously hungover for Super Bowl I in 1967? Or the streaker at the beginning of the second half of Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004? CBS didn’t show him-after all because Janet Jackson had just flashed the nation minutes before. But a Danish network showed the whole thing, including the part where he gets leveled by a Patriot linebacker!

I wonder what we’ll see (or not see) this year!
