Way To Go Denmark!! 140% Of It’s Energy Generated From Wind Power!

On a particularly windy day last week, Denmark found itself producing 116% of it’s national electricity needs from wind turbines alone. And then the next day produced 140%! On average though, as of 2014, Denmark gets roughly 40% of it’s power from wind farms. But as more wind farms go in that number rises. As it has each year since 2004.
By 2024 Denmark is projecting to be producing more than 49% of it’s electricity needs from wind turbines. That is an easily attainable number when stacked against the 39% it’s currently generating.
