Posted by GreaterGoodness
Officer Luke Watson of Toronto, Canada wanted to take a stand against homophobia and anti-gay discrimination, so he decided to do something bold.
On April 7, 2015, Watson got a striking makeover in honor of the International Day of Pink, dying his blond hair an unforgettable fuschia.

Watson showed off his new ‘do at local schools April 8 in an effort to raise awareness about sexual discrimination and promote diversity.
But this wasn’t just a short-term bid for attention. Watson vowed to keep up the look an additional week for every 1,000 retweets his picture received on Twitter, and an additional day for each 100 tweets.
On April 10, the photograph had received over 5,000 retweets.
Way to go, Officer Watson! Thank you for your service and your courage.
